However, that would be a disservice to the vibrant, partying spirit of Mykonos in the summer. Although I've visited Mykonos, I consulted Maira, a Greek native who frequents the island almost every summer, for her take on the trendiest places.

Where to Stay?
Inside Chora
Chora is the main part of Mykonos so there are a lot of boutique hotels dotted around. You can spend your day wandering around boutique shops and having lunch somewhere like Katerina which specialises in fresh seafood. With your nights Chora offers pockets of liveliness with small bars and larger clubs like Guzel, Astra and Bonbonniere located there.
If the Four Seasons Mykonos is on your list of places to stay, it is gorgeous but if you know how hard it is to get a taxi in Mykonos during summer then staying in Chora seems a better choice.
Before Sunset
Nammos
When you enter Nammos Mykonos it truly feels like a Nammos world. The candy coloured designer shops will tempt you with designer items you never knew you needed but now you must have. It is the perfect place to spend the day eating, drinking, dipping in and out of the ocean and eventually partying.

If you're not already heading there for an evening event, Principote is another excellent choice for spending your day lounging in luxury. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings for a perfect day in Mykonos.
